We had a great day in Second Grade today!!
Here is homework for tonight:
1. Read your baggie book for 20 minutes.
2. Write 3-5 sentences in your reading log about what you read for 20 minutes. I would like you to write these sentences even if you do not finish your book!
3. Practice spelling words.
(There were a few kids that did not bring back their math homework from last night. This is a quick reminder to finish it and send it back!)
We are working on making Class Dojo a bigger part of our classroom. Today the students made up and chose their own rewards and consequences for earning certain amounts of points. I am working on getting email addresses entered into Class Dojo so that emails will be sent home every Friday about your child.
Tomorrow we will be having a plastic frog jumping contest! The kids are excited about this activity! I hope to be able to take pictures of what the kids are doing and post a few here on the blog.
Look for an email that will be sent out later today.
